GAUGE 
10X10 cm = 17 sts og 23 rounds in stockinette stitch on needles US 8 (5 mm). 

It is important to have the right gauge to determine the given size. Adjust needle size to match gauge. 

 

 

NEEDLES 

US 6 (4 mm), 40 cm circular needle 
US 7 (4.5 mm), 40 and 60 – 80 cm circular needles. 

  

METHODS 

The sweater is knitted in the round with stockinette stitch and stranded knitting on the yoke. Short rows are used to shape the back. 

  

The ribbings at the bottom of the body, sleeves and the collar are knitted; k 2 sts, p 2 sts, repeat. 

The pattern is written in two ways; to knit the sweater bottom up and to knit the sweater top down.
